Links

These are general links to places I've found interesting or informative. Links to pages specific to bands will ultimately appear as part of the database.

I ran an encoding test a while back, to see which mp3 encoder best handled low-bitrates. The info is obsolete now, but it's an interesting snapshot of the early days.

Fat Wreck Chords used to run a 'cast, but they don't anymore.

Total Punk Radio has way more songs than I do.

Many, many of the songs on this 'cast are available from Lookout Records.

Very Small Records was a very small label but they (he) put out some incredible stuff.

I started listening to punk thanks to KXLU.

I listened to KALX a lot when I was in Berkeley.

Hopeless Records is my new favorite label and has a way cool website (although sometimes I get blank pages).

The FLEX discography of US punk and hardcore is a cool database that I use alot in conjunction with this site.
